Arrival in Rome

We arrived late afternoon in Rome on Wednesday. The afternoon was free for us to roam around until dinner. We are staying at the Westin Rome, Excelsior.

We were tired so we only did a little sightseeing. we did go to the Spanish steps and walked around some of the streets of Rome.

We returned for our dinner in the hotel. The dinner was fabulous. The restaurant was called Doney. The meal was interesting because the tour director ordered all the entrees on the menu and had them served buffet style. Needless to say this was a great meal. 

After our meal we took a nice walk around the area to walk off some calories before bed. Had fun trying to find street names until we discovered that they were carved into stone on the corner buildings . Also posted some pictures of what people are wearing here.
